4th & 5th;:  Recital and masterclass at Mansfield University (PA). 

9th & 10th:  No lessons.  Judging NVMTA Concerto Competition

MARCH

15th:  Two Rivers Symphony Orchestra at Shepherd University.  Inaugural concert at 8:00 PM in the Frank Center Theater on the campus of Shepherd University.  STUDENTS OF DR. BEARD—FREE  Parents:  $10

16th -19th:  No lessons.  Spring Break vacation.

20th:  Deadline for WVMTA Spring Festival Adjudication.

22nd:  Masterclass/Dinner at Dr. Beard’s home studio.  Ridgefield Farm.  Go to website www.ridgefieldfarm for directions.  George Fu and Jesse Wong will run their duet competition program.

29th-31st:  No lessons.  Attending MTNA National Conference in Denver.

APRIL

1st-2nd: No lessons.  Attending MTNA National Conference in Denver.

4th:  Lecture-recital presentation “Where East Meets West:  Contemporary Chinese Piano Music,”  College Music Society Super Regional Conference at Gettysburg College.  NO LESSONS

5th:  WVMTA Spring Festival at Shepherd University. ($)

9th:  Performance at the Smithsonian with Opera Camerata.  NO LESSONS

27th:  EPMTA Spring Recital ($).  Deadline April 15th

MAY

10th:  Concerto Competition Winners Recital, M21 Shepherd University.

15th:  Studio Recital.  Time and location TBA.

22nd:  Opera Camerata Concert at the Russian Embassy.
